About SWECA
South West Essex Canine Association, was established
in 1956 for people interested in exhibiting dogs for pleasure
and to meet people with the same interests.
The club was originally based near Chingford, Essex hence the
name South West Essex. I frequently attended the match nights
also held in Chingford with my wife, possibly then my fiance,
and I still have the prize cards from that time.
If anybody has any records from those early days, it would be wonderful
to share them on our web site with others.
I have only just taken over as secretary and I would like to thank our
outgoing secretary, Mrs Sadler, for the past 15 years commitment
and her involvement as secretary for our club.
